Duke of Manhattan(Review)

Author: Louise Bay
Series: The Royals, Book 2

This thoroughly enjoyable book is a play on the fake wedding to satisfy the terms of the will story. Ryder Westbury moved to New York and had no intention of having anything to do with the title of Duke of Fairfax that could be his when his grandfather passes away. That changes, when his no-good cousin gets in the picture, and threatens to take away everything that Ryder built in the states. Uninterested in giving up his playboy lifestyle forever, Ryder needs a wife in name only, and only for a short time. Scarlett King now free of a disastrous first marriage and determined to avoid a repeat becomes his preferred partner for this deception. She wouldn’t want to make this permanent any more than him, would she? Even from the grave Ryder’s grandfather plays a role.

House of Cards(Review)

House of Cards(Review)

This book was interesting from the get go. No lagging no slowing down. It was non-stop back and forth between Maggie and Jonnie. Their chemistry was explosive. I love how Ainsley St Claire detailed the relationship between the two families and how much he was willing to do to get to be with her. He stood by her through the most disastrous time of her life with her Mother lying to her and her world as she knew it coming crashing down. In the end it was a love that would last once she allowed herself to believe in it. I read this book in a day as I couldn't put it down.

I read this book in one sitting. I’ve been a fan of Erin Swann since the Billionaires Trust. Erin is the expert at hiding Easter eggs that when they’re opened it’s never what you expect. This is her first foray outside of the billionaire troupe, or is it? There’s a Benson and in Erin’s world, Benson equal billionaires. Highly entertaining and a great new series.
